Eric Schneider is a Dutch-born actor and voice artist recognized for his work in film, television, and anime English dubs. He was born on August 30, 1934, in Jakarta, Indonesia, which was then part of the Dutch East Indies.

Schneider is best known to anime audiences for providing the English voice of Degwin Sodo Zabi, the absolute dictator of the Principality of Zeon, in the original Mobile Suit Gundam television series. He reprised this role for the 2003 video game Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space.

Beyond his anime voice work, Schneider built a substantial career as a character actor in live-action television. He is noted for his work on Canadian and American productions, with appearances including a recurring presence on the revival of The Outer Limits, where he is the only actor to appear in all seven seasons of the series. His other television credits include roles in Stargate SG-1, Highlander, Poltergeist: The Legacy, The New Addams Family, and The Commish. In film, he appeared in the 1993 adaptation of Stephen King's Needful Things and the 1996 television miniseries Titanic. He was also familiar to Canadian Broadcasting Corporation listeners for his radio work and performed on stage in productions such as Hamlet and Lilies.
