Go Inoue is a Japanese voice actor born on April 19, 1978, in Saga Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent management firm Sigma Seven. His path to voice acting was inspired by his childhood passion for video games; hearing voice acting in games during his junior high school years made him aspire to hear his own voice in them one day. After graduating from Saga Higashi High School, he enrolled in the Amusement Media Academy in Tokyo to pursue this goal. He began his entertainment career with an on-screen acting role as Shigeru Sahara in the 1988 tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Black RX. His voice acting career took off in the early 2000s, with early anime roles in series such as Naruto and Kekkaishi.

Inoue has built a substantial portfolio of anime roles, demonstrating versatility across different character types. He is known for his work in long-running and popular franchises. One of his most prominent roles is that of Keith Goodman, the heroic Sky High, in the Tiger & Bunny franchise, a part he has played since the original 2011 series and reprised in subsequent films and the 2022 sequel, Tiger & Bunny 2. He is also the voice of Spain (Antonio Fernández Carriedo) in the long-running Hetalia series, including Hetalia: Axis Powers, Hetalia The World Twinkle, and Hetalia World Stars. His performance in this role led to a memorable moment when Spain won the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and fans flooded his Twitter account with congratulatory messages as if he were the country itself.
