Tamlyn Tomita is a Japanese American actress and voice artist known for her extensive work in both live-action film and animation. Born on January 27, 1966 in Okinawa, Japan, she made her on-screen acting debut as Kumiko in The Karate Kid Part II (1986).
In the field of anime and animated voice work, Tomita leads the English dub of the 2024 Netflix film Ultraman: Rising, where she provides the voice for both Emiko Sato and the support AI character Mina. She also voices Lady Itoh in the Netflix animated series Blue Eye Samurai (2023). Another notable voice role includes Inspector Tezuka in an episode of DuckTales (2020).
