Jasmine Laurenti is an Italian voice actress known for a prolific career spanning several decades, primarily dubbing Japanese anime for the Italian market. She was born on November 22, 1965, in Volpago del Montello, Veneto, Italy. Early in her career, she worked under the stage name Roberta Gallina Laurenti before transitioning to her current professional name, Jasmine Laurenti.

Laurenti began her work in media in the late 1970s, collaborating as a radio host, commercial spokesperson, backing vocalist, and singer with major radio broadcasters and recording studios in the Veneto region from 1978 to 1988. She started her voice acting career in 1987, working at major recording studios in Milan. Her voice acting work is extensive and includes some of the most iconic characters in anime as they were presented to Italian audiences.

One of Laurenti’s most significant and long-running roles is providing the Italian voice of Kaori Makimura, the steadfast partner of protagonist Ryo Saeba, in the City Hunter franchise. Her work in this series spans numerous titles, including the original City Hunter television series, various television specials, the 2019 film City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes, and the 2023 film City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust. For the Italian release of Angel Dust, she reprised her role as Kaori Makimura alongside Guido Cavalleri as Ryo Saeba under the direction of Mosè Singh. Her role as Kaori is considered a historic part of the Italian voice cast for the series. In addition to her work on City Hunter, Laurenti is also known for the role of Marushka in the series Manga Sekai Mukashi Banashi.

Throughout her career, Laurenti has voiced numerous other prominent heroines. She is widely recognized as the voice of Marta, the Italian name for Sailor Venus (Minako Aino), in various iterations of the Sailor Moon series, including Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, and Sailor Moon SuperS, as well as in the related films. She also voiced the character Lamù in several Urusei Yatsura films and OAVs. Her other notable anime roles include Mai in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT, Tisifone and Lady Isabel in I Cavalieri dello Zodiaco (Saint Seiya), Sonoko Suzuki in the early episodes of Detective Conan, Fujiko Mine in the second Italian dubbing of Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro, Misa Ayase in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?, and Riquinni Nonderaiko in Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise.

Laurenti’s professional achievements extend beyond voice acting. In 2015, she earned a diploma in Acting For Film from the New York Film Academy in New York. She is also an international journalist, registered with the British and American journalists' orders. Additionally, she has published three books: a poetry collection titled Nel Giardino Incantato degli Eroi, a children's book on values called Blue, and her autobiography, Suor Soubrette.
