Kimiko Tsuruta is a Japanese voice actress and former television announcer born on August 16, 1952, in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. She began her career in broadcasting, working as an announcer for TV Yamanashi starting in 1970, before transitioning to voice acting in 1978 when she joined the talent agency Haikyo.

In anime, Tsuruta is known for several supporting roles in productions from the late 1970s and early 1980s. She provided the voice of Ran in the television series Sue Cat. Another significant role was Lapo, also known as Rapo, in the mecha series Space Runaway Ideon and its compilation film The Ideon: Be Invoked. She had a recurring part as Lapo across four episodes of the original television series and voiced the character in the 1982 film.

Additional anime credits include Sophia in Anne of Green Gables, a role in Belle and Sebastian, and appearances in Muteki Kōjin Daitarn 3 as Girl B and Pageant Girls. She also voiced a character in the anime adaptation of Perrine Monogatari, also known as The Story of Perrine. Beyond acting, Tsuruta has worked extensively as a narrator for various television programs, including NHK productions such as Chiisana Tabi, Step & Jump Rika, and Sansuu Suisui, as well as programs for other major Japanese networks. She has also provided dialect coaching for the film Ah! Nomugi Toge.

Her voice type is soprano, and she speaks the Koshu dialect native to her home region of Yamanashi. Her hobbies include swimming, table tennis, aerobics, and playing the koto in the Yamada school style.
