Utako Kyō
Description
Utako Kyō was a Japanese actor born on July 12, 1927 in Kyoto, Japan. She passed away on April 6, 2017 at the age of 89. Kyō was known for her work as a voice actor in anime, with her most recognized role being Kiku Takemoto in the television series Jarinko Chie, which aired in 1981. Beyond her voice acting career, she also appeared in numerous live-action films, particularly during the late 1960s and 1970s, including roles in productions such as Zatoichi roylessuri, Gokuaku bozu, Hibotan bakuto oryu sanjo, and Sukeban gerira. Her later film work included a role in the 2007 film Obachan chippusu.
