Sanryō Odaka is a Japanese voice actor known for his work in the Transformers franchise. Born on May 5, 1947, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, he is primarily recognized for his role as the Maximal warrior Apache in the Beast Wars II subline of the series. He performed the voice of Apache in the 1998 television anime series Beast Wars II Chō Seimeitai Transformers and reprised this role in the same year for the theatrical film Beast Wars Second: Lio Convoy Kiki Ippatsu. The character Apache serves as the loyal second-in-command to the Maximal leader Lio Convoy. In the Beast Wars II anime, Odaka also provided the voice for an antagonistic clone of this character, a black doppelgänger known as Copy Apache.
