She is affiliated with the talent agency B-Box and began her career in the early 2000s after graduating from the B-Box Actors School. Horanai has built a substantial body of work across television anime, original video animations, video games, and theater productions. Her filmography spans over two decades, with one of her earliest roles being a young boy in the series Naruto in 2002. She gained wider recognition for her role as Rua, the lively twin brother also known as Leo, in the popular series Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
