Description
Jkyum is a South Korean author recognized as the original creator of the manhwa series I Tamed My Ex-husband's Mad Dog. Beyond this pen name, Jkyum is also associated with names including Jaegyeom, Jaekyum, Jagyum, and Kaltoebyeonggar, and is identified as a web novelist.

Jkyum is credited as the original story author for I Tamed My Ex-husband's Mad Dog, a manhwa adaptation of their source material. The series is published in English by Ize Press, an imprint of Yen Press, with the first volume released in December 2024. The manhwa adaptation is illustrated by the artist Jagae and adapted by CMJM, with translation provided by Tappytoon. The story follows Reinhardt Lincke, a former crown princess who travels fifteen years into the past to the day of her father's funeral, where she takes revenge on the prince responsible for his death and is subsequently banished to a cold, isolated region. There, she encounters a wild boy she recognizes as a future war hero and the prince's loyal enforcer, setting in motion a plan for revenge and an unexpected romance.

The central themes of the work include time travel, revenge against a former betrothed, political exile, and the taming of a dangerous yet loyal figure who becomes instrumental to the protagonist's goals. The series is categorized for a teen audience and falls within the romance genre, blending elements of fantasy and political drama.

Jkyum's significance in the industry stems from their role as the original source creator for a popular web novel that has been successfully adapted into a manhwa and distributed internationally in multiple languages. The collaborative model of their work, involving a separate artist and adaptation team, follows the standard production structure for many Korean webtoon and manhwa properties, where the original author provides the story foundation while other professionals handle the visual adaptation. Multiple volumes have been released, with continuing publication as of 2026.
