Description
Orlando Alfaro is a Chilean actor primarily recognized for his extensive work in dubbing and voice-over. He was born in 1987 and studied theater at the University of Chile, graduating in 2008. His training in dubbing was furthered under the instruction of Loreto Araya at her school, ProVoz. Beyond his performance work, Alfaro is also a dedicated educator, teaching dubbing, voice, and oratory at the Sudamerican Voices school in Chile.

Alfaro's career in dubbing is broad, encompassing animation, live-action film and television, and anime. He considers his role as Kerim in the acclaimed Turkish television series What's Fatmagül's Fault? to be one of his most significant works, a project that was part of a wave of Turkish dramas dubbed in Chile. His versatility as a voice actor is evident in his ability to perform in various accents and for different character types. For instance, he dubbed the voice of Javier Bardem, employing a specific Colombian-accented Spanish, for the film Loving Pablo, a role for which he was selected over Colombian dubbing actors.

His contributions to anime and animated features include several notable credits. He provided the voice for Crystal Boy in the classic film Space Adventure Cobra: The Movie. In the 2011 anime film The Princess and the Pilot, Alfaro voiced the character Takeo Chijiwa. More recently, he took on the role of the menacing Ziggy in the Netflix anime series Edens Zero, which was dubbed at DINT Doblajes Internacionales in Chile. Other animated roles include Arturo in Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs, Patrick in Riverdance: The Adventure, Count Dracula in both Hotel Transylvania films, and Tonraq in The Legend of Korra.

His work also extends significantly into dubbing for live-action content. He has been the regular Spanish voice for actor Tituss Burgess in the series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and has voiced characters in major films such as Parasites (as Kim Ki-taek), the John Wick series (as Marcus), and various productions for studios like Lionsgate. His live-action on-screen appearances include roles in Chilean television series and films, such as his character John Jairo in the telenovela Generación 98'.
