1Angel Densetsu
Seiichirō Kitano transfers to Hekikuu High School. His face terrifies everyone who sees it,though his intentions remain genuinely kind. Students mistake his nervous smile for a menacing threat and immediately label him a violent delinquent. Ryoko Koiso, a martial artist, notices Kitano assisting an injured cat and recognizes his gentle nature. The school's former guardian, Seikichi Kuroda, organizes his subordinates to attack Kitano and reclaim his reputation. Kitano, unaware of the challenge, walks into the confrontation. His frightening appearance causes Kuroda's gang to flee in panic without a single punch thrown. The principal publicly praises Kitano for defeating Kuroda, cementing his unwanted status as the school's new protector. Yuji Takehisa, a local troublemaker, witnesses the event and becomes convinced Kitano possesses overwhelming strength. Takehisa swears loyalty to Kitano, interpreting his awkward kindness as the behavior of a powerful master. Kitano accepts Takehisa as a friend, unaware of the violent reputation building around him. The episode concludes with Kitano arriving at school to find Ryoko waiting for him, while other students continue to spread rumors about his supposed reign of terror.
2Angel Densetsu
Seiichirou Kitano continues his first day at Hekikuu High School, unaware that his terrifying appearance has already cemented his reputation as the school's most dangerous delinquent. Kitano attempts to return a lost wallet to its owner, but his intended kindness only deepens the misunderstandings surrounding him. The wallet belongs to a member of a rival school faction, leading members of that group to confront Kitano directly. His blank stares and nervous shuffles, interpreted as menacing provocations, cause the rival students to retreat in fear. Word of the confrontation spreads, and the Hakuun High gang, led by Takeshi Kojima, marks Kitano as a threat to their territory. Seikichi Kuroda and Yuji Takehisa, two delinquents Kitano unintentionally defeated earlier, begin following him, believing he has appointed them as his subordinates. Kitano remains oblivious to their assumed loyalty, treating them with genuine politeness that they mistake for the composure of a seasoned leader. Ryoko Koiso, a classmate who witnessed Kitano's gentle actions, grows increasingly curious about the contradiction between his face and his behavior. Kojima arrives at Hekikuu High with a group of followers, demanding Kitano face him to settle the growing rivalry. Kitano, concerned only with getting to class on time, walks directly toward the gathered gang without recognizing the threat. The episode ends with Kojima and his men preparing to attack, misunderstanding Kitano's approach as a declaration of war.
