i havnt seen the BETA martin told me a few stuff wich would be in the game.. thats a huge difference.. also i dont think you have seen the game or somesort.. since there isnt any atm..

so please could someone close this topic and make shure martin actually READS this.. since its getting rather annoying.. he told me a week ago maybe longer that we would hear something soon but nothing changed and that is starting to agitate me..

Just so you know, Shika had just resigned when Mb wrote that post. The question is if new admins are really needed. Players say yes, but well, I am not sure if a 'mod' is needed anymore. So my suggestion is to promote Neo to 'admin' and leave it like this... but well, I don't think it'll be like this, so...

I believe they really are needed, but not many of them. Just have 1 or 2 admins in power and let everything else stay as it is. I say give Neo and Pyro admin status and see how things turn out. Overall there were not that many controversies that required admins and only admins to mediate.

MySQL Database can't be entered so Admins can't do anything(I'm pulling this whole discussion back to the game now...)

So Martin Bündgens... I guess before electing Administrators you should fix the MySQL database so they can actually do work...

Admins are indeed not needed... At the moment. Yet people/players are asking for one.

MySQL Database isn't broken... An admin could access the Database if he had permission.

Well I remember well that there were only 2 things you could acces when we had acces back when Martin baught the game... then we lost acces and I guess nothing has happenend... since he's recoding about 8 months now...

as said, if MSQL acces doesnt return there is no need for an admin.. its only handy that people know who to ask stuff to..

i talked to martin and he will decide what he wants to do soon (actually yesterday but i wasnt able to talk to him then) PLEASE let martin think on his own and dont SPAM him with stuff meaningless..

and that go's for everyone.. let him be and he if doesnt do anything its his decision.. and thats all.. martin kind of promised me to tell me when he decides.. lets leave it like that..

I played Mu online, Encarta, Conquer Online, Eudemons, Gunz, Runescape, Knights online, The Empire, linage 1 & 2, WOW, and bascially i been game hoppng.

Sorry it took me forever to reply...I been to busy with University and work. Now things are going smoothly and i understand my subjects morei have more free time on.

P.S. on a side note...I am taking computer programming and other courses soon, i wann do sumthing either in mechainal enginnering, robotics or gamming...so i know u have 12 years of experaince so what should i do if i wanted to take steps to get into gaming field or the computer coding that you do :O)

Ontopic, i think something has to be done. Rather sooner then later. To my experience the game's kind of spinning out of controll. I might be wrong, since i have been wrong before in the past, but it's just my opinion.

I have mixed feelings about the voting of anyone into the office of administrator. As one of the games oldest active members, I've seen alot of abuse from those posted to 'control' the game. I have also seen the effects of not having someone vested with the power of administering this game. Since I was this games strongest player for much of last year, I hope whoever reads this thread will take some advice:

1) Martin has to read what is being written. The thread was begun in November with no indication that he's read anything. Monkey has stated that he wants Martin to read the thread...no Martin.

2) Martin needs to clean up the programming issues. Glitches are increasing without constant care.

3) I HIGHLY recommend that this does not become a vote for administrator like we vote for a kage. Kage voting denegrates into nothing more than a popularity contest. Idiots are voted into office without regard to leadership or capability. The game suffers as a result. Since Martin is not active within the game, he may need to rely on a vote of game members. Unfortunate.

4) We have experienced NFG with excellent administrators. We have experienced the game with poor administrators. Finally, we have experienced the game with NO administrators. By far, the worst experience IS NOT having an administrator.

So, I ask that somebody grab your nuts and make a decision. Granting administrative powers to someone who is capable is better than having nobody at all!!!

Sharp as always Kakashi with the exception that I believe Martin has read this thread. The voting thing, well, I believe I criticized this as soon as this thread was started and said Martin should take people he trusts for administrators of NarutoFanGame.

But people still state who they think is capable of being an administrator, and I do not believe that is something all too bad. That makes me curious, who would you like to see as an administrator?
