Description
Yachiyo Nanami is a nineteen-year-old magical girl operating in Kamihama City, having contracted at age twelve. She initially wished to survive as her unit's leader, but later feared this wish corrupted, causing another magical girl to die in her place during near-death experiences. This fear led her to isolate herself.
Residing in Mikazuki Villa, a boarding house inherited from her deceased grandmother, Yachiyo works as a fashion model and attends Kamihama City University as a first-year student. She habitually tracks store sales and purchases mugs for Mikazuki Villa residents, revealing a hidden kindness beneath her reserved demeanor.
In combat, she wields a halberd and possesses the unique ability to inherit hope from deceased magical girls. This inheritance allows her power to grow stronger over time, bypassing the typical weakening associated with aging. She can summon multiple halberd copies and perform Connect techniques to fuse weapons with allies. Her doppel, Campanella, manifests as a ticket-punching entity linked to her prolonged existence as a magical girl. Campanella induces misfortune on those it injures but cannot fully separate from her body. A notable evolution occurs when she absorbs accumulated hopes across timelines, transforming her into the "Historia" version. This state grants her a multicolored lance capable of shattering barriers to the future, though it intensifies her emotional burden.
