Description
Aine Chidorigafuchi is a central character found within the narrative, standing at seventeen years of age with a height of one hundred sixty-two centimeters. She is a beautiful young woman characterized by her fair skin, long eyelashes, glossy pink lips, and a well-trained, voluptuous figure. Her hair is long, reaching below her knees, and is typically silver in color, though it transforms into a vibrant pink when she is filled with magical power. Her eyes are similarly red but take on a pinkish hue under the same conditions. Her physical measurements are ninety-three at the bust, fifty-five at the waist, and eighty-five at the hips. She is typically seen wearing the standard uniform of the Ataraxia Strategic Defense Academy, where she is a student and a proud member of the elite unit known as Amaterasu.

Her background is shrouded in mystery at the start, as she was discovered seven years prior to the main events near a canal named Chidorigafuchi in Tokyo, having lost all memories of her life before that point. She was taken in by Nayuta Hida, a renowned scientist and the mother of the protagonist Kizuna, who gave her the name Aine. During her time in Nayutas laboratory, she was a subject of experimentation until she began attending high school. The truth of her origins is eventually revealed: she is actually Ainess Synclavia, the former princess and later Empress of Vatlantis, the most powerful country in the parallel world known as the AU. She is the older sister of Grace Synclavia, who inherited the throne after Aines unexplained disappearance.

In terms of personality, Aine is initially presented as a very serious, arrogant, and blunt individual with a wicked tongue who tends to look down on others. Upon her first meeting with Kizuna, she is hostile and mocks him, telling him to go away. However, beneath this haughty and sharp-tongued exterior lies a deeply shy and stubborn nature. She is easily embarrassed, especially in contrast to her younger sister, and becomes flustered in situations she would never openly admit to. A paradoxical aspect of her personality is that she becomes more excited when she is being watched or teased, as shame and pleasure go hand-in-hand for her. This trait is often exploited by Kizuna during intimate rituals required to replenish her powers, as the more embarrassed she becomes, the more effective the process is.

Her primary motivation is a profound feeling of inferiority regarding her abilities as a Heart Hybrid Gear user. She constantly strives to become stronger, believing herself to be less capable than others, which drives her to take any measure to increase her power. This insecurity is linked to her amnesia and her perceived weakness in long-range combat, which creates an existential crisis for her. After regaining her memories of being the Empress of Vatlantis, her motivations become more complex and melancholic. She is forced to reconcile her past life, where she had to make terrible decisions to save her own world, including a willingness to kill the man she loves to protect him from a crueler fate, with her present relationships and loyalties on Earth. Her ultimate drive shifts toward ending the conflict between worlds and protecting those she cares about, specifically Kizuna.

Aine`s role in the story is that of one of the central pillars of the Amaterasu squad and the primary heroine. She is a frontline warrior who pilots the Magitech Armor Zeros in close-quarters combat against invaders from another world. Her most crucial role, however, is her partnership with Kizuna Hida. His unique ability allows him to replenish the energy of female Hybrid Gear users through intimate contact, a process known as Climax Hybrid. Aine is the first to undergo this process with him, which establishes their deep and indispensable bond. As the story progresses, she becomes a key figure in the larger conflict, as her identity as the Vatlantis Empress makes her a bridge and a point of contention between the two worlds.

Her key relationships are central to her character development. Her bond with Kizuna Hida evolves from initial hostility to deep love. She is comforted by him during her personal crises, and after an intense duel where he defeats her to bring her back home, they realize their love for each other and begin a romantic relationship. Aine is fiercely possessive of her status, declaring herself Kizunas first and main wife, though she accepts his other female admirers as love rivals and is even open to polygamy. Her relationship with her younger sister, Grace Synclavia, is fraught with difficulty. While Grace happily welcomes her return, she has become dangerously unstable and, wanting Aine for herself, tries to have Kizuna killed. Aine loves her sister but is forced to confront her to put an end to the war. She holds great respect for Reiri Hida, Kizunas older sister and the commander of Ataraxia, but also fears her anger and worries that Reiri uses her position to monopolize Kizuna`s time. With her fellow Amaterasu members like Hayuru Himekawa and Yurishia Farandole, she shares a mutual respect as comrades and love rivals, ultimately having no issue with them loving Kizuna as well.

Aine undergoes significant development throughout the story. She begins as an arrogant amnesiac warrior, but after being forced to confront her past, she becomes depressed and melancholy upon remembering her role as a leader who committed terrible acts. This leads to a period of intense internal conflict where she resolves to kill Kizuna herself as an act of mercy, believing the war between their worlds is hopeless. Her defeat at his hands marks a turning point, after which she becomes more honest, open, and friendly about her feelings, especially her love for him. She emerges from the conflict with a more stable and confident, though still stubborn and competitive, personality, even planning to have his child through repeated Ecstasy Hybrid rituals.

In terms of notable abilities, Aine is a highly skilled warrior who pilots the Heart Hybrid Gear known as Zeros. Her combat style is centered on hand-to-hand fighting, in which she is a master, and she easily surpasses her opponents in physical strength. Despite her preference for close-quarters battle, she is also proficient with firearms, demonstrating excellent marksmanship from long distances. Her Zeros equipment also possesses stealth capabilities, such as making her weapons invisible. When she performs Climax Hybrid with Kizuna, her gear fuses with his Eros, becoming sharper and more slender, and she acquires a powerful weapon called the Pulverizer. Later, after unlocking her lost memories, she gains access to a special power called Code Breaker. When this is active and she is filled with magical power, her appearance changes to pink hair and eyes, and her Zeros armor manifests a large magical circle on her upper back that stretches behind and above her head.
