Akari Kageyama is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with the agency IAM Agency. She was born on December 25, 1993, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. From a young age, she aspired to be a voice actor, a dream she first documented in her elementary school graduation yearbook. After graduating from university with a degree in English, she pursued her goal professionally.

Kageyama made her voice acting debut in 2015 with her first major role as Nana Ebina in the television anime Himouto! Umaru-chan. Her performance as the shy but kind-hearted character quickly brought her into the spotlight. That same year, as part of the cast, she joined the voice acting unit "Sisters Wink" to perform character songs for the series.

Following her debut, Kageyama has built a diverse portfolio of roles across anime, video games, and other media. Some of her notable anime roles include Aine Chidorigafuchi in Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia, Beatrice in Princess Principal, and Sayaka Hama in Clione no Akari. In the 2019 comedy series How Clumsy you are, Miss Ueno, she played the role of Yamashita, the stone-faced and supportive classmate of the protagonist. She also provided the voice for Mukuro Hoshimiya, the mysterious Spirit of the series, in Date A Live IV. She reprised this role for the subsequent season, Date A Live V. In the gaming world, she is known for voicing characters in long-running franchises, such as the heavy cruiser Kako and her sister ship Furutaka in Azur Lane, as well as Durin and Provence in Arknights.

Throughout her career, Kageyama has demonstrated versatility, taking on roles in a wide range of genres and often collaborating with the same studios and franchises. She has voiced characters in multiple projects associated with IAM Agency. Her work has extended beyond straightforward voice roles to include musical performances, such as singing the ending theme My Pace Science for How Clumsy you are, Miss Ueno alongside her co-stars.

Kageyama holds several qualifications, including a score of 680 on the TOEIC test, Grade 2 in the EIKEN English proficiency exam, and a certification in Kanji proficiency. She is also a skilled calligrapher, holding a seventh-dan degree. Her hobbies include playing billiards, singing karaoke, and drawing illustrations. On January 1, 2024, Kageyama announced her marriage via social media.
