Description
Takumi Nekoi, an anthropomorphic cat, inhabits Nyagoya City—a feline-dominated urban environment modeled after Nagoya. Living as a NEET, he remains detached from employment, education, or training until the abrupt vanishing of numerous cats, including his lazy anthropomorphic father, disrupts his existence. This event compels Takumi to abandon his passive lifestyle and actively pursue his father's rescue, propelling him into a central narrative role focused on urgency and purpose.

He belongs to the Nekoi family, alongside Mukumi Nekoi and Yugami Nekoi, indicating shared familial connections. His actions drive the plot to resolve the disappearances and confront their underlying causes within Nyagoya City, which integrates local cultural elements like the Nagoya dialect and landmarks such as Nagoya Castle. The narrative unfolds through hyper black comedy, emphasizing absurd and satirical undertones in the urban setting.
