Description
Cacao, also known as Kakao, is a secondary antagonist from the 1990 Dragon Ball Z film The Tree of Might, where he serves as a member of the Turles Crusher Corps, the elite group of henchmen led by the low-class Saiyan Turles.

Physically, Cacao is a cyborg whose body largely consists of mechanical components affixed to what appears to be skin resembling magma. The only organic parts of his body left exposed are his neck, his head, and portions of his arms. He possesses yellow eyes and typically wears a red Scouter over his left ear, along with a suit of silver-colored battle armor that conceals hidden weaponry.

Cacao originates from the planet Ikonda, where he was converted into a battle cyborg to fight in an interstellar war. Following the conclusion of that conflict, he became a galactic lone-wolf bounty hunter before volunteering to join Turles's group. His primary motivation for joining the Crusher Corps was the opportunity to strengthen his cyborg body, which is constructed from a special metal that grants him immunity to ordinary attacks. Alongside his comrades, Cacao traveled across the universe planting the Tree of Might on various planets to consume its fruit and increase his power, with the ultimate goal of becoming strong enough to overthrow Frieza and dominate the universe.

In terms of personality, Cacao is the most reserved and quiet member of the Crusher Corps, single-mindedly focused on gaining power. Despite his quiet demeanor, he demonstrates loyalty to his team, working particularly well in combination with his comrade Daiz. He is perceptive in combat, as seen when he recognizes a reference made by Yamcha to events that occurred earlier in their encounter. In versions of the film where he speaks in full sentences, Cacao expresses disdain for the life and nature of other planets, referring to Earth as a filthy planet and showing eagerness to wipe out all life on it.

Cacao's role in The Tree of Might begins when the Crusher Corps sends a drone to Earth to assess its suitability for planting the Tree of Might. After determining that Earth is an ideal location, the group descends to plant the seed. When the Dragon Team intervenes to destroy the tree, the Crusher Corps engages them in battle. Cacao is matched against Yamcha, swiftly defeating him as his cyborg body proves resistant to Yamcha's attacks, including the Spirit Ball technique. Later, Cacao teams up with Daiz to fight against Goku, but the two are ultimately defeated. Cacao makes a final attempt to confront Goku during the Saiyan's Kaioken-powered rampage, but is killed when Goku delivers a solid knee strike to his chest.

Cacao possesses several notable abilities and weapons integrated into his cyborg body. He can fly, utilizing both ki manipulation and built-in rocket propulsion jetpacks located in his legs, shoulders, and chest that can open from within his battle armor. His signature technique, the Cosmic Attack, involves chasing an opponent, stopping, ascending rapidly using his jetpacks, and then ramming into the target. He also performs a Combined Full Power Energy Wave alongside Daiz, where both charge energy spheres and fire them simultaneously, resulting in a massive red explosion that inflicts great damage. According to the promotional pamphlet for The Tree of Might, Cacao has a power level of 13,000. He makes a brief cameo appearance in the 1995 film Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, where he is among the inhabitants of Hell who escape to Earth after Janemba destroys the barrier between dimensions.
