Description
Lakasei is a minor antagonist from the anime film Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might. He is a member of the Turles Crusher Corps, a group of mercenaries led by the Saiyan Turles. Lakasei and his twin brother Rasin belong to the Beenz, a long‑extinct race of highly intelligent beings. Turles revived them from fossilized remains using an extract from the Tree of Might, and the brothers were responsible for constructing Turles’ spaceship and his other military equipment.
Physically, Lakasei is short, plump, and has purple skin with an oval‑shaped head. He wears armor typical of the Crusher Corps. His personality is aggressive and loyal to Turles, and he fights alongside his brother as a coordinated pair. Lakasei’s primary motivation is to serve Turles in his plan to plant the Tree of Might on Earth, drain the planet’s life energy, and acquire the fruit that grants immense power.
In the story, Lakasei and Rasin are among Turles’ henchmen who engage the Z‑Fighters after the Tree of Might is planted. They easily defeat Chaozu and Tien Shinhan, showcasing their combat ability. Later, when Goku arrives and unleashes a full‑power assault, Lakasei is swiftly defeated alongside the other members of the Crusher Corps. He does not undergo any character development; his role is that of a disposable enforcer. After the film, Lakasei reappears in non‑canon material such as Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn and the Dragon Ball Heroes video game series.
Lakasei possesses several notable abilities. He can fire a Continuous Energy Bullet, which he uses while hunting Chaozu, and a Full Power Energy Wave that he employs against Chaozu and later against Gohan. His signature technique is the ability to merge with his brother Rasin into a single being or separate back into two individuals at will, a skill referred to as Futago no Konbinēshon. He can also perform a technique called Jemini Shotto. These combined abilities make him a competent threat when fighting alongside his twin, but he is ultimately no match for Goku’s strength.
