Description
Dorodabo, also known as Wings, is a character from the animated film Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug, where he serves as one of the primary henchmen to the villainous Lord Slug. His design is that of a large, imposing figure with brown skin and a gargoyle-like appearance, complete with a pair of wings that enable him to fly. He also possesses two small horns on his forehead. His visual design and role as a brutish enforcer draw a clear inspiration from Dodoria, a similar henchman of Frieza from the main series.
Dorodabo is depicted as a cruel and boastful individual who carries out his master’s orders with unwavering loyalty. He is very confident in his own abilities and firmly believes in Lord Slug’s invincibility. After Lord Slug uses the Dragon Balls and begins terraforming the planet, Dorodabo confronts the hero Piccolo. This battle is his most significant action in the film. He initially overwhelms the young Gohan, but when facing Piccolo, the dynamic changes drastically. Despite a guidebook noting that his superhuman strength surpasses that of any other member of Slug’s clan, Piccolo proves to be far superior. The Namekian warrior brutally crushes Dorodabo’s hand, breaks his arm, and thoroughly defeats him.
