TV-Series
Description
Corona Timil is a student at the St. Hilde Academy of Magic and a close friend of Vivio Takamachi. She lives on the planet Midchilda and comes from an ordinary family, a contrast to many of her friends who possess notable lineages or unique powers. She is a classmate of Vivio and Rio Wesley, having known Vivio since their first year of school. Corona initially took up Strike Arts, a form of magical martial arts, at Vivio's suggestion, as she was concerned that without practicing a combat sport, she would be unable to keep up with her friends.

In terms of personality, Corona presents a gentle, polite, and studious demeanor, often described as a calm and level-headed girl. She is academically gifted, frequently achieving the top grades in her year. However, she is self-conscious about her physical abilities, as she is not naturally talented at practical magic or athletic endeavors. Despite this appearance of being soft-spoken, she possesses a tough and assertive core, along with considerable intelligence and tactical creativity. Her ability to remain calm and analytical under pressure is considered one of her greatest strengths, and her coach, Nove Nakajima, regards her as the most strategically minded member of their team. Corona is driven by her desire to stay connected with her friends, particularly Vivio, and to overcome her own perceived weaknesses through effort and clever strategy rather than raw power.

In the story, Corona takes on the role of a supportive best friend, often seen training alongside Vivio and Rio. As the narrative progresses, she becomes a competitor in the DSAA Intermiddle Championship. While she is a capable fighter, she does not possess the overwhelming power of some of her peers. During the events of ViVid Strike!, Corona has taken on an additional role as a manager for other DSAA candidates at the Nakajima Gym, demonstrating her organizational skills and deep understanding of the sport beyond just fighting. She often acts as a second or support staff for her friends during their matches, valuing her ability to contribute strategically even when she is not in the ring herself.

Her key relationships are central to her character. Her friendship with Vivio is a primary motivating factor in her life, as it was Vivio's encouragement that led her to pursue martial arts. She trains under Nove Nakajima, who serves as a patient and encouraging mentor, helping Corona through moments of self-doubt. She is also close friends with Rio Wesley, and the two often spar and compete as rivals and partners. Corona holds a deep respect for fellow fighter Einhard Stratos, whom she considers a senior and a formidable opponent. She has a meaningful connection with Lutecia Alpine, who crafted Corona’s primary magical device, Brunzel, recognizing and fostering her unique magical talents.

Corona undergoes significant development, starting as a shy and less confident girl who struggles with the physical aspects of Strike Arts. Through persistent training and the support of her friends and mentors, she learns to leverage her high intelligence and unique magical skill to forge her own path. She moves from simply trying to keep up with Vivio to developing a distinct fighting style that compensates for her lack of brute force. Even after being defeated by stronger opponents like Einhard, she continues to grow, embracing a role that combines her abilities as both a competitor and a strategic manager.

Corona's notable abilities revolve around her unique magical specialty: Golem Creation and Manipulation. Using her Intelligent Device, a short blade named Brunzel, she can create and control a massive golem named Goliath. This golem possesses immense physical strength and durability. Corona has developed a unique fighting style known as Meist Arts, which seamlessly combines her golem manipulation with hand-to-hand combat techniques. A key technique is Meist Arm, where she partially creates a giant golem arm to deliver powerful punches or launch projectile attacks like a Rocket Punch. She also developed a high-risk skill called Nephilim Fist, which allows her to override her own bodily limits by manipulating her body like a golem, granting explosive power at the risk of severe injury. Her magic is of the Midchilda system and is characterized by a yellow color.
