Keigo Takami, known as the Wing Hero: Hawks, endured a traumatic childhood in Fukuoka marked by abuse and isolation. Confined by his criminal father who physically and emotionally tormented him, frequently expressing regret over Keigo's existence, he initially believed heroes were fictional characters. This changed when Endeavor arrested his father, revealing their reality. Forced into poverty with his neglectful mother, Tomie, Keigo resolved to prove his usefulness. He intervened in a high-speed car accident using his Fierce Wings Quirk, saving multiple lives, an act that drew the Hero Public Safety Commission's attention and led to his recruitment. The commission separated him from his mother, mandated a name change, and subjected him to rigorous training focused on deception, infiltration, and combat. Keigo possesses feathery ash-blond hair, gold-brown triangular eyes with distinctive black markings, and a slim build. His most notable feature is his bright red wings, enabling flight and telekinetic feather manipulation. His hero costume resembles an aviator uniform, featuring a modified tan jacket with shoulder slits for his wings, black gloves, yellow protective headphones, and a tinted visor. Severe burns from Dabi's Blueflame during the Paranormal Liberation War reduced his wings to stubs, leaving jagged facial and back scars. He utilized prosthetics to regain flight capability during the Final War until All For One permanently stole his Quirk. Post-war, he adopted formal attire, including an orange suit jacket, and carried a katana. His personality combines a carefree, sarcastic exterior with intense vigilance and strategic intellect. He values civilian approval over rankings, preferring lower-tier hero work for greater freedom. Despite his laid-back demeanor, he relentlessly refined his Quirk's applications—rescue, combat, and multi-tasking—through constant training. As a double agent infiltrating the Paranormal Liberation Front, he demonstrated exceptional emotional control and cunning, though he expressed disdain for deception. An underlying optimism drives him to seek redemption in others, endeavoring to rehabilitate Twice despite their adversarial roles and supporting Endeavor's atonement for past abuse. He harbors guilt over collateral damage during missions, including Endeavor's injuries during the High-End Nomu confrontation. His Fierce Wings Quirk allowed high-speed flight, environmental sensing via air vibrations, and telekinetic feather control. Individual feathers could lift humans or harden into blades for combat. He once evacuated 76 civilians during a skyscraper collapse while simultaneously battling Nomus. His speed surpassed Endeavor's, and he enhanced allies' mobility by attaching feathers to them. After his wings were compromised, he used katanas for combat. Post-Quirk loss, he relies solely on conventional weapons and analytical skills. As the new HPSC president, he prioritizes systemic reform, pardoning Lady Nagant and advocating for rehabilitative justice. In "World Heroes' Mission," Keigo participates in the global operation against Humarise.
