Mizuki Takase is a main character in Comic Party Revolution. She is an eighteen-year-old college student with long red hair usually tied in a side ponytail and blue eyes. She is described as energetic and athletic, standing 160 cm tall with a birth date of May 12 and blood type A.

Mizuki has been a close friend of the protagonist, Kazuki Sendou, since junior high school, and they attend the same college together. She holds a strong skepticism and hostility toward otaku culture and doujinshi (self-published fan comics). When Kazuki becomes deeply involved in creating and selling doujinshi, Mizuki initially opposes his new hobby. Her opposition stems from her negative view of the otaku community and her fear that Kazuki's dedication to doujinshi will take time away from their friendship and the time they spend together. However, she is also conflicted because she sees the genuine satisfaction and joy Kazuki derives from the process of making doujinshi.

Throughout the series, Mizuki acts as a grounded counterbalance to Kazuki's growing passion for doujinshi. She pushes him to keep up with his studies and reminds him of real-world responsibilities. Her concern for Kazuki is genuine, and her motivations are rooted in wanting what she believes is best for him and preserving their long-standing connection. Over time, Mizuki shows some development as she gradually becomes more accepting of Kazuki's interests, though she remains wary and does not fully embrace the doujinshi world.

Her key relationship is with Kazuki, whom she views as more than just a friend; she is often considered his girlfriend from their junior high days.
