Kouzou Shibano is the president of the massive international conglomerate Shibano Enterprises, a position that grants him enormous wealth and influence. His personality is defined by ruthless ambition and an unwavering desire to eliminate any rival that stands in his way. He views Neo Pro-Wrestling not just as a sport but as another arena for corporate dominance, and he is willing to deploy sabotage, sneak attacks, and outright betrayal to ensure that his teams and business interests remain unchallenged. His primary motivation throughout the story is to crush the Pretty Four and the upstart TWP league, both of which represent a threat to his monopoly and a personal affront due to a long-standing grudge against Tokichiro Harajuku, the TWP founder whom Shibano has bullied since childhood.

As the head of Shibano Enterprises, Shibano oversees multiple Neo Pro-Wrestling teams, the most powerful being the Moonlight Jewels, which is managed and led in the ring by his daughter Yoko, who wrestles under the persona Sapphire. His son Nagoya serves as a board member and often carries out missions on his father's behalf, extending Shibano's reach and executing his underhanded schemes. Shibano's role in the story is that of a primary antagonist, constantly orchestrating plots to undermine the Pretty Four’s championship aspirations. Though an older man, with grey hair and a position of authority, he does not physically compete; his abilities lie in strategic manipulation, corporate warfare, and the willingness to spend resources and moral boundaries to topple his competition. His character remains consistently antagonistic, showing little development away from his fixation on defeating the Harajuku family and maintaining his empire’s supremacy.
