Description
Kazuma Mamizuka is one of the twin sons of Umi Mamizuka, the school's physical education teacher, and Kousuke Mamizuka, a famous actor. As the younger of the two brothers, he is a toddler who spends his days in the care of the school's babysitting club.

In terms of appearance, Kazuma has blonde, unkempt hair and large, light brown eyes that are very often filled with tears. His cheeks are usually depicted as rosy pink. While he is the identical twin of his brother Takuma, Kazuma’s perpetually watery expression makes him easy to distinguish.

Personality-wise, Kazuma is the more sensitive, cautious, and fearful of the twin pair. He is prone to crying easily in a wide variety of situations, whether from fear, sadness, or frustration, a trait he shares with his emotional father. He is easily startled by new things and unfamiliar people, often requiring encouragement to try new activities. Unlike his more rambunctious playmates, Kazuma is generally agreeable and avoids conflict, preferring calm interactions. This reserved nature makes him heavily dependent on his twin brother for comfort and security.

Kazuma's primary motivation is a deep-seated need for security and closeness, which he finds almost exclusively in his relationship with Takuma. His actions are often driven by a desire to stay near his brother and to feel safe in his environment. When separated from Takuma, even for a short time, he experiences significant distress and loneliness.

Within the story, Kazuma serves as one of the core children in the babysitting club, providing much of the gentle and tender dynamic among the more energetic toddlers. His frequent crying often prompts the babysitters, particularly Ryuuichi Kashima, to offer comfort and care. He also plays a key role in highlighting his brother’s protective and caring nature.

Key relationships define Kazuma's world. His bond with his twin brother Takuma is the most significant. The two are almost always seen holding hands, and Kazuma often mimics Takuma's words and actions. While Takuma is usually the leader and protector, Kazuma follows his lead, creating a strong, symbiotic pair. In moments of disagreement, such as when Takuma wants to play in water which Kazuma fears, Kazuma’s desire to not hold his brother back is evident. He shares a loving relationship with his mother Umi, who can usually soothe him with gentle pats and encouragement, though even her presence cannot fully ease the pain of being separated from Takuma. His relationship with his father Kousuke is more complicated; the two are extremely similar in their emotional sensitivity, but Kazuma, like his brother, has difficulty seeing his father as anything other than the scary characters he often plays on television. Among his friends, Kazuma initially feared Hayato Kamitani due to his stern demeanor, but after Hayato saved some chicks from a cat, Kazuma developed a strong, quiet admiration for him.

Throughout the story, Kazuma shows subtle signs of development. A notable example is when the twins run their first errand to buy milk. Despite his fear, Kazuma insists on accompanying Takuma and holds his hand through the unfamiliar experience. While he remains timid, he is consistently willing to follow his brother into new situations, demonstrating a quiet bravery born from their bond. Another area of growth is his fear of water; though he remains scared, he decides he does not want to keep his brother and friends from having fun, showing an emerging capacity for selflessness.

Kazuma possesses no special abilities beyond those of a typical toddler. His most notable traits are his strong emotional sensitivity and his ability to elicit care from those around him. He is known to dislike scissors and has a particular fear of going into water.
