Chinami Mitama is a supporting character in A Centaur's Life. She is one of the younger triplet sisters of Manami Mitama and is recognizable as a member of the Cat Folk, a species characterized by feline traits such as a tail and a pair of animal ears atop the head. She has blonde, shoulder-length hair and red eyes, and her appearance is that of a young child.

Chinami has an energetic and playful personality. She is also described as being smart and kind, though her actions often highlight a mischievous and forward nature. As one of the triplets that includes her sisters Chigusa and Chiho, she is frequently seen alongside them, and the three young Cat Folk sisters often act as a unit, bringing a lively and unpredictable energy to their interactions with the main cast.

Her behavior is notably affectionate and uninhibited, particularly regarding physical expressions of fondness like kissing. She is known for her admiration of the main character, Himeno, and on one occasion kissed her directly on the lips as a greeting. She and her sisters also engage in playful deals involving kisses, such as promising a kiss to the character Shino in exchange for a kiss from their older sister, Manami. Her admiration for Himeno extends to a playful and innocent fascination with Himeno's physical attributes.

Within the story's world, Chinami and her family run a shrine, where her older sister Manami often works as a shrine maiden. Their father is frequently absent due to work, leaving Manami to take care of Chinami and her other younger sisters. The triplet sisters, including Chinami, are shown to be a source of both support and chaos for Manami. Their family also includes another younger sister named Suetsumi, whose fragile health is a point of concern for the older siblings. The narrative explores the daily life and fantastical normalcy of this world, with Chinami providing lighthearted and humorous moments through her interactions with Himeno, Shino, and her own family.
