Description
Matrona is a female giant of the Eastern Giant Clan and the former warrior chief of the giant village Megadoza. She is physically imposing, with a tall, muscular build that retains a distinctly feminine form, long blonde hair, and brown eyes. Her epithet is Fang of the Great Earth.
As a veteran warrior, Matrona is proud and fierce. She values strength and resilience, and she is known for hiring out her combat abilities to humans for payment. She is driven by a desire to train and protect the next generation of giant warriors. Her primary motivation is to prepare her students, especially Diane and Dolores, for the harsh realities of battle. She does not shy away from exposing them to real fighting, believing that experience is the only true teacher.
In the story, Matrona appears first in flashbacks during a period when Diane suffers from memory loss and returns to her giant clan roots.
