Angela Brusa

Description
Angela Brusa is an Italian voice actress, born in Turin on April 1, 1980. She comes from a family with a strong tradition in dubbing, as she is the daughter of actor and voice actor Mario Brusa and the younger sister of voice actor Stefano Brusa. Brusa began working in television and film dubbing as a child, starting her career in Turin and later working in both Milan and Rome.

Her voice is featured in a wide array of Italian-language dubs for animated series and films. Among her notable anime roles is Matrona, the leader of a giant clan in The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of The Gods, a role she reprised in the series The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgement and the film The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light. She voices Namie Amamiya, the mother of the protagonist Shuhei, in the series Forest of Piano. In the 2005 short film Negadon: The Monster from Mars, she provided the voice for Emi, the daughter of the protagonist, in a production where her brother Stefano Brusa also served as the dubbing director. Another early anime role was Hikora in the 2005 OAV Kakurenbo - Hide & Seek.

Her extensive voice work in animation includes Evergreen in Fairy Tail, Eclipsa Butterfly in Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and Becca Winograd-Diaz in Undone. She has also voiced characters in live-action films and television series, such as Rachel in the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action film series and its sequels, and has dubbed performances for actresses like Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Fleabag.

Brusa has often worked alongside her brother, Stefano Brusa, who has directed dubbing for productions featuring her, as seen in Negadon: The Monster from Mars. In a 2014 interview, she described her work as a profession she enjoys and in which she finds no routine, expressing gratitude for her career. She has also served as a dubbing director, notably for the new edition of the anime series Future Boy Conan.
