Description
Arnold is a human character from the 2015 Transformers: Robots in Disguise animated series. He is portrayed as a believer in legendary creatures, a trait that heavily influences his actions and worldview. He is also easily intimidated, which, combined with his superstitious nature, makes him a willing and effective follower for anyone he believes to be a mythical being. Adding to his personality is a notable flair for the dramatic, which colors the way he speaks and carries himself.

Arnold's primary motivation stems from his deep-seated belief in folklore and the supernatural. He is driven by a desire to serve and perhaps gain wisdom from the legendary creatures he venerates. His role in the story is that of a misguided minion. He first encountered the Decepticon Thunderhoof in the woods and mistakenly identified the alien robot as the Kospego, a local legendary creature. Seizing the opportunity, Thunderhoof ordered Arnold to gather specific items needed to build a space bridge. Arnold dutifully spread the word and successfully recruited a group of other people to help construct what he believed was an altar for the creature.

In his quest to fulfill the Kospego's demands, Arnold and two other followers visited a scrapyard near Crown City to acquire the final components, including a generator. Although they were unable to purchase the generator, they completed the space bridge regardless. The construction was later interrupted by the Autobots Bumblebee and Sideswipe, who disguised themselves with tree branches and pretended to be two other legendary beings called "Sideswingo" and "Bumbeego". These newcomers announced they had come to punish the Kospego, which frightened Arnold and the others into fleeing the site.

Arnold's key relationship is with Thunderhoof, who he serves without realizing he is a Decepticon. His interactions with the Autobots are indirect, as he encounters their disguised personas rather than Bumblebee and Sideswipe themselves. Following the incident, Arnold and his friends returned to the woods, not to resume building the space bridge, but in the hopes of finding "Sideswingo" and "Bumbeego" once more, wishing to share in their wisdom. This demonstrates his lack of development within the episode; he does not learn that he was being manipulated but instead simply transfers his misplaced faith from one mythical figure to another. Arnold does not possess any notable superhuman abilities, but his strength lies in his unexpected charisma and organizational skill, as he was able to quickly rally a group of people to undertake a complex construction project based solely on his word.
