Haruo Yamagishi is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on November 12, 1974, in Nagano Prefecture. He is represented by the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, also known as Haikyo. Standing 181cm tall with blood type B, he is a graduate of the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy and the Haikyo Theater Institute.

Yamagishi began his career in theater in the 1990s before transitioning to voice acting in the 2010s. His deep baritone voice has made him a familiar presence in television dramas, anime, dubbed films, and stage productions. His early voice work included supporting roles in series such as Little Busters! and Log Horizon. Over time, he has built an extensive resume of character roles, often portraying authoritative, fatherly, or villainous figures.
