Troy Baker is an American voice actor and musician recognized for his extensive work in anime, animation, and video games. His career in voice acting began in Dallas, Texas, where he performed in radio commercials. He was subsequently recruited by Christopher Sabat to work at Funimation, a move that launched his career in English dubs of anime. This period marked the start of his involvement in numerous high-profile series.

Baker became a prominent voice for Funimation, contributing to the English adaptations of major franchises. His early work included roles in the English dub of the anime Case Closed, which led to further opportunities in series such as Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist, and the Funimation dub of One Piece. He voiced Helmeppo and Ohm in One Piece and Jin Kariya in Bleach. In Fullmetal Alchemist, he played Frank Archer, and later voiced the second incarnation of the homunculus Greed in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

His filmography in the medium is vast and includes a wide array of characters. In the Naruto franchise, Baker is known for his performances as Yamato and the villainous Pain in Naruto: Shippuden. He also voiced Baki Hanma in the Netflix original net animation series Baki and Baki Hanma, and previously played Katou in the earlier Grappler Baki series. For Code Geass, he provided the voice of Schneizel el Britannia. In Soul Eater, he voiced the eccentric and powerful Excalibur. Other notable anime roles include Gennosuke Kouga in Basilisk, Abel Nightroad in Trinity Blood, and Kanji Tatsumi in Persona 4: The Animation.
