Description
Andrew Gilbert Mills, known as Agil, is a large and muscular man with a bald head, a brown goatee, brown eyes, and two small silver earrings on his left ear. He is of African-American descent and was raised in Tokyo. In his twenties, he opened the Dicey Café, a coffee shop and bar in the Taito Ward of Tokyo, where he met and married his wife. Agil was one of the 10,000 players trapped in the deadly Sword Art Online incident. Within the game, he was a veteran axe-wielder who fought on the front lines and participated in key boss raids, including the first floor and the decisive battle on the 75th floor. He later opened a pawn shop on the 50th floor of Aincrad, using his earnings to discreetly support mid-level players. Despite his imposing appearance, he is friendly, level-headed, and reliable, with a generous nature that he often hides behind a profit-seeking facade. After escaping SAO, he returned to running the Dicey Café. He continues to play VRMMOs, including ALfheim Online as a Gnome, and helped revitalize the VRMMO industry by disseminating the World Seed. In the events of Ordinal Scale, he adapted to the Augma augmented reality device and joined his friends in battling the final boss, An Incarnation of the Radius. He later participated in the defense of the Underworld, risking his account to support Kirito. Throughout the series, Agil remains a steadfast ally and mentor to Kirito, Asuna, and their companions, offering both combat support and a stable gathering place at his café.
