TV-Series
Description
Aina Kuronuma is a first-year student in Class 1-2, where she is easily recognized by her light brown hair styled into twin tails and her reddish-brown eyes. Her delicate and fragile appearance, combined with carefully charming gestures, has made her an idol-like figure among the boys in her class, who are drawn to her cute looks. Despite this popularity, her true focus is solely on her classmate, Sakamoto, for whom she harbors deep romantic feelings.
Behind her sweet and innocent exterior, Aina possesses a calculating and somewhat manipulative personality. She is acutely aware of her own attractiveness and initially has no qualms about using her charm to get what she wants, often employing what she calls love lessons to make boys do her bidding. This shallow and strategic approach to social interactions causes her to be generally disliked by the other girls in the class, who view her as a dishonest rival. However, as the story progresses, Aina undergoes a degree of development. After a series of failed attempts to seduce Sakamoto, who remains effortlessly impervious to her schemes, she becomes more humbled. Through Sakamoto's indirect and unconventional interventions, she manages to break the ice with her female peers, first befriending classmates named Yagi and Tanaka. While she retains some of her haughty nature, she successfully integrates into the girls' circle and forms genuine friendships with them.
Aina's primary motivation throughout the series is her relentless pursuit of Sakamoto. She devises various romantic strategies and cute ruses to attract his attention and get closer to him, though her efforts are consistently and gracefully deflected. Her role in the story is largely tied to these comedic attempts at seduction, as well as her journey from being a social outsider to an accepted member of the class. One of her most notable and surprising abilities is her immense physical strength, which starkly contrasts with her frail frame. She possesses an extraordinary grip strength estimated to be around 300 kilograms, a force comparable to that of a chimpanzee. This hidden power becomes a recurring source of humor and surprise among her friends, adding a unique and memorable trait to her character.
