Description
Kengo Ujii is an exorcist who holds the position of Genbu, the Black Tortoise, among the Twelve Guardians, the most powerful exorcists on Tsuchimikado Island. He is also the current head of the Ujii House, a family renowned for its expertise in barrier techniques. Physically, Kengo is a tall man with sharp green eyes and spiky green hair, which he keeps styled up. He is always seen wearing a pair of glasses. His typical attire consists of a black uniform beneath a green yukata-style cloak. In the past, before a tragic incident that claimed the lives of many students, his hair was styled differently, combed down rather than spiked. The same event left him with a large scar on his back, which he sustained while shielding his close friend, Kankuro Mitosaka.
Kengo's personality is a mix of irritable pragmatism and deep-seated loyalty. He is famously miserly and has a strong fixation on money, often calculating expenses with an abacus or demanding payment for his services, even from fellow exorcists.
