TV-Series
Description
Miki Ishimoto is a recent college graduate and the central human protagonist of the series. Upon completing her art school education, she secures her first job at Holbein Entertainment Co., an entertainment agency. On her very first day, she is assigned to manage a newly formed idol group called the Sekkō Boys, also known as the Rockies. This group is highly unusual because its members are not human performers but four animated Greco-Roman plaster busts: Saint Giorgio, Medici, Hermes, and Mars.

Miki's background includes a prior dislike for statues and classical art during her art studies, which makes her initial assignment jarring and adds an ironic layer to her role. Despite this initial dismay and the sheer absurdity of managing walking, talking stone busts, she approaches her job with earnest dedication. Her personality is defined by her hardworking and responsible nature. She is pragmatic and grounded, often serving as the straight man to the eccentric and larger-than-life personalities of her idol charges. While she can be flustered and exasperated by the bizarre situations that arise, she never abandons her sense of duty.

Her primary motivation is to successfully launch the group's career and prove herself as a capable manager in the entertainment industry. She works tirelessly to handle their demanding schedule, coordinating television appearances, fan meet-and-greets, and dealing with the various forms of backstage drama and logistical chaos that come with managing statues. Miki's role in the story is that of the anchor and the audience's point of view, navigating the satirical and comedic clash between the high-minded world of classical art and the fast-paced, often superficial idol industry. Her key relationships are with the four members of the Rockies. Saint Giorgio, with his passionate and chivalrous demeanor, Medici, with his refined and arrogant air, Hermes, the smooth and mysterious multitalented member, and Mars, the dramatic and emotional god of war. She must learn to manage each of their distinct personalities and work cohesively as a unit. In terms of development, she evolves from a reluctant rookie who was initially uncomfortable with statues into a competent and supportive manager who grows to genuinely care about the group's success and well-being. Her notable abilities include strong organizational skills, resilience under pressure, and the patience required to coordinate the antics of her highly demanding and idiosyncratic idols.
