Description
Keiichirō Akasaka manages Café Mew Mew and serves as its head chef, simultaneously functioning as Ryou Shirogane's assistant in overseeing the Mew Project. Adopted by Ryou's parents in his youth, Akasaka first assisted Ryou's father before continuing his support for Ryou. His Mew Project duties involve monitoring alien threats and safeguarding Mew Aqua.

He created the robotic companion Masha (designated R2000) to aid the Mew Mews during missions, maintaining operational awareness of threats and resources from the command center hidden beneath Café Mew Mew.

Akasaka exhibits kindness, calmness under pressure, and high intelligence. He frequently adopts a supportive, brotherly role toward the Mew Mews. His etiquette remains impeccable and his taste refined, consistently impressing others. While generally composed, he occasionally displays a flirtatious or mischievous side, such as offering to kiss Ichigo to revert her cat transformation. He maintains professional boundaries despite awareness of admirers like Miwa.

Physically, he possesses light skin and brown hair, typically secured in a long ponytail with a red elastic tie. His eye color is documented as both dark grey-blue and brown. His standard attire is the Café Mew Mew uniform: black pants, a white collared shirt, suspenders, and a bow tie.

In the 2020 narrative, Akasaka continues his dual roles at the café and project. His appearance stays consistent except for slightly shorter bangs. The uniform evolves to a white long-sleeved collared shirt, dark vest, bow tie, and slacks, replacing the suspenders. He manages the Mew Mews alongside supporting characters Berry, Tasuku, and the reformed aliens Quiche, Pie, and Tart.

His name undergoes localization changes internationally: Wesley J. Coolridge III in English dubs like Mew Mew Power, Kyle Akasaka in Italian and Brazilian Portuguese, and Sigyeong Ryu in Korean.
