Description
Lop, a Force-sensitive Lepi of rabbit-like physiology, endured enslavement by the Galactic Empire on Tao after being orphaned. Rescued through escape, she was adopted into the Yasaburō clan by patriarch Yasaburō at his daughter Ochō’s urging, who recognized shared resilience in the timid outworlder. Initially dependent on her droid TD-4, Lop grew into the family, forging a sibling bond with Ochō and embracing Tao as her home.

Seven years later, ideological fractures split the clan: Yasaburō resisted Imperial environmental plunder through insurgent acts, while Ochō advocated compliance with industrialization for planetary security. Lop sought compromise, valuing unity above politics, until Ochō’s covert alliance with Imperial officers culminated in her defection—marked by severed hair and allegiance to the Empire’s redevelopment agenda.

Declared Yasaburō’s heir after Ochō’s betrayal, Lop inherited the clan’s ancient lightsaber, a Jedi relic entrusted generations prior. The ceremony affirmed kinship beyond lineage, cementing her status as a daughter. Confronting Ochō at an Imperial site, Lop awakened latent Force powers during a duel, telekinetically disarming her sister with Yasaburō’s blade. Ochō fled aboard an Imperial vessel, fracturing the family, though Lop clung to reconciliation hopes embodied in TD-4’s hologram of their past unity.

Lop’s journey from traumatized fugitive to Tao’s protector intertwines her enhanced agility and infrared-augmented vision with resolve to shield both adoptive kin and besieged ecosystems. Her leadership challenges Imperial dominance while navigating the scars of estrangement, balancing loyalty to clan and planet against the cost of defiance.
