Laia Vidal

Description
Laia Vidal is a Spanish voice actress known for her work in dubbing, particularly for animated series and films in both Catalan and Spanish. She began her career after discovering dubbing through a chance encounter with an advertisement for an open house at the Escola de Doblatge de Barcelona when she was around 15 years old, which led to her formal training at the school. Her early interest in voice work was sparked by a childhood of imitating characters from the anime and Disney films she watched on television.

Vidal has built a substantial career voicing leading characters in major animated and live-action productions. One of her most prominent roles is providing the Catalan voice for Suzu Naito, the protagonist of the acclaimed film Belle. She has also voiced characters in several other notable anime and animated projects, including Juri Ando in Drifting Home, Makoto in Bubble, and Lop in the Star Wars: Visions episode Lop & Ocho. Her film work extends to dubbing Raya in the Catalan version of Raya and the Last Dragon and Himi in the Catalan dub of The Boy and the Heron.

In addition to films, Vidal has an extensive list of credits in television series. She voices Noelle Silva in the Catalan dub of Black Clover, Yuzuriha Ogawa in Dr. Stone, and Aoi Kanzaki in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. A significant recent achievement is her role as the female Ranma Saotome in the Spanish dub of the 2024 Ranma ½ remake. She has also been involved in dubbing for live-action projects, such as America Chavez in the Spanish version of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Her work frequently involves dubbing for both the Spanish and Catalan markets, showcasing her versatility across Spain's two primary dubbing industries.
