Description
Fuuka Narutaki is a student at Mahora Academy and a member of Class 2-A, where she sits alongside her fraternal twin sister, Fumika. As the older of the two siblings, Fuuka is easily distinguished by her energetic demeanor and her appearance, which includes pink hair typically styled into two high ponytails and bright pink or light violet eyes. Standing at a diminutive 128 cm, she and her sister are notably the shortest students in their class, a physical trait that belies their actual age as they are among the few girls who have not yet begun to develop the secondary characteristics associated with puberty. Her birthday is December 6th, and her blood type is A.

Personality-wise, Fuuka is characterized by a playful, mischievous, and highly energetic nature. She has a great fondness for pranks and sweet foods, while her dislikes include ghosts and things that are stationary. This lively and impulsive streak forms the core of her personality, often leading her into various schemes and bits of trouble. Within the inseparable Narutaki pair, Fuuka is the instigator, contrasting directly with her more cautious and orderly younger sister, Fumika. Though Fumika often accompanies Fuuka on her pranks, she can frequently be heard advising her older sibling against their more questionable ideas. Despite her impulsive exterior, Fuuka has demonstrated moments of seriousness, particularly when her loyalty is engaged, and she is known to playfully point out the vulnerabilities of her classmates, such as Makie Sasaki.

Fuuka and her sister share a deep admiration for their roommate, the ninja Kaede Nagase. Looking up to Kaede as a mentor, the twins frequently don ninja-inspired outfits and claim to be undergoing ninjutsu training under her tutelage, a hobby they take quite seriously even if their self-proclaimed skills are largely performative. Their ambition to emulate Kaede sometimes leads them to overstep, as seen when they attempted to steal Kaede’s badge in a failed effort to join a critical mission led by their teacher, Negi Springfield. Their extensive involvement in the school's Strolling Club has made them intimately familiar with the layout of the sprawling Mahora campus, a skill they put to use when helping others find their way.

In terms of magical abilities, Fuuka and Fumika share a unique Pactio, a magical contract that normally binds one partner to a magister. Their shared card, named Geminae Simulatrices, which translates to Simulating Twins, is considered a mistake. It resulted from a botched ritual in Kyoto where both twins simultaneously kissed a magical copy of their teacher, Negi Springfield. The powers granted by this unusual contract vary depending on the adaptation. In the first anime series, it allows the twins to perform a shadow doppelganger technique, creating illusory copies of themselves. In the Negima!? series, the Pactio manifests as a "cosplay" artifact for Fumika, transforming her into a Western-style detective equipped with a magnifying glass that can see into the future, while Fuuka's form includes a ninja outfit with a scroll.

Throughout the narrative, Fuuka plays the role of a supportive if sometimes mischievous classmate. She and her sister often act as a pair, from spying on their peers to spreading news across the class. Their journey takes them from the halls of Mahora Academy to adventures in Kyoto and England, and eventually to the climactic battle against the Mage of the Beginning, where they fight alongside their allies. In the epilogue following the series' conclusion, Fuuka’s story concludes on a fairy-tale note. Along with her sister, she married shortly after graduating from high school. In a brief and whimsical subplot that was never fully depicted, the twins encountered two animals during a Christmas event who were later revealed to be magical princes in disguise. Fuuka ultimately married one of these princes and settled with her family near Ariadne in the Hellas Empire, where she had a daughter.
