Description
Narumi, whose full name is Anju L. Narumi, is a 27-year-old Japanese language teacher at Alice Academy and the homeroom teacher of the Elementary Division's Class B, the class of the main character Mikan Sakura. He is commonly addressed by the nickname Naru, a name sometimes linked to his narcissistic tendencies. He was born on August 10, has blood type O, and stands about 179 centimeters tall. He belongs to the somatic ability faculty and also serves as the supervising teacher for students with somatic-type Alices.
His Alice is the Human Inclination Pheromone Alice, a somatic ability that lets him charm people regardless of gender. The effect is potent enough that children without immunity to romantic feelings may faint when exposed to it, and if he removes the control piercing that suppresses his power, even adults can be overwhelmed. Because his pheromone ability had no effect on Mikan, he was the one who recognized the unusual nature of her Alice and helped arrange her enrollment at the academy. His Alice stone is magenta.
In everyday life, Narumi appears lighthearted, flamboyant, and somewhat careless as a teacher, and he is known for wearing strikingly flashy outfits that rival those of the female characters, especially during school events. Beneath this casual exterior, he is genuinely devoted to his students and willing to put himself in harm's way for their sake, and he occasionally shows a more thoughtful and serious side.
