Description
Cha Sihyeok, known in the original Japanese version as Natsume Hyuuga, is a central character in the story. He is a ten-year-old student in the elementary division of the Alice Academy, where he is placed in Class B and also belongs to the Dangerous Ability class due to the nature of his power. Born on November 27, his appearance is marked by short, dark hair and red or crimson eyes, though in the anime adaptation his eye color was changed to brown. He wears special piercings on his ears, which are devices meant to help control his powerful abilities.
Natsume’s life before the academy was marked by constant flight, as his family moved from place to place to evade the academy’s agents who sought to recruit children with special powers. It was during this time that he met and befriended Ruka Nogi, saving him from kidnappers and establishing a bond that would become the most important constant in his life.
