Description
Eimi Ohba is a prominent character in the anime Comic Party Revolution, known for her role as a talented and ambitious creator of doujinshi, or self-published comics. She is a young woman with distinctive green hair, which is typically cut to neck length, and green eyes. Her birthday falls on March 20th, and she has B blood type. Eimi carries herself with an overwhelming sense of self-importance, having given herself the grandiose title of the Queen of ComiPa, a reference to the large comic market conventions the characters attend.

Her personality is defined by a powerful ego and a fiercely competitive nature. Eimi is openly arrogant, frequently praising her own work while being harshly critical of others, whom she views as rivals. Her primary motivation is commercial success. She judges the worth of a doujinshi almost entirely by how many copies it sells, believing that high sales are the ultimate mark of quality. As the head of her popular doujin circle named "CAT OR FISH?!", Eimi takes great pride in the fact that her group's publications routinely sell out at conventions. Despite her abrasive exterior, she possesses genuine talent. She has first-class drawing skills and a keen ability to research and predict what will be popular with readers, demonstrating a sharp, business-minded approach to her art.

In the story, Eimi's most significant role is as a rival and foil to fellow doujin artist Yuu Inagawa. Their relationship is marked by frequent public confrontations and name-calling, with Eimi giving Yuu the memorable nickname "Onsen-Panda" due to Yuu's family-owned hot spring and her large, round glasses. Their competitive spirit extends beyond making comics, leading to absurd contests such as a baseball game that ends in a tie, with both refusing to concede. Beyond her rivalry with Yuu, Eimi also shows hints of other relationships. She interacts with the main character, Kazuki Sendou, and there are suggestions of an unspoken infatuation with him. Her friendship with Asahi, a teen idol whose fame far surpasses her own, serves to humble Eimi and take her down a few pegs, forcing her to confront that there are different kinds of success.

Throughout Comic Party Revolution, Eimi undergoes some character development. While she remains a demanding and often childish individual, the series reveals her more vulnerable side. Viewers see her struggling with remedial classes, which she tries desperately to hide because it interferes with her social life and, presumably, her doujin production. This helps to round out her character, showing that beneath her delusions of grandeur, she is a hardworking creator with real passion and the skills to back up her claims. Her childish behavior is also illustrated through various quirks, such as her verbal tic of prefixing words with "super" and her tendency to mispronounce complex words. She even has a noted aversion to green vegetables like seaweed, stemming from an embarrassing incident where pieces got stuck in her teeth. These traits make Eimi a memorable character whose ego is as notable as her genuine creative ability.
