Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is the main protagonist of his namesake series, a singularly bizarre and powerful hero who stands against the tyrannical forces of the Maruhage Empire, also known as the Chrome Dome Empire, in the futuristic year of 300X. This empire, led by Emperor Tsuru Tsurulina IV, has initiated a brutal Hair Hunt, a crusade to shave every head in the world and enforce baldness as a symbol of submission. Physically, Bo-bobo is an eccentric and imposing figure, characterized by his immense, muscular physique and a giant, spherical, golden afro, which he often accessorizes with a pair of sunglasses.
