Richard Epcar is an American voice actor, voice director, and writer with a prolific career spanning over four decades. Born Richard Michael Epcar on April 29, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, he has lent his voice to more than a thousand characters across animation, anime, and video games. He is married to fellow voice actress Ellyn Stern, and together they operate Epcar Entertainment, a voice-over production service company based in Los Angeles.
Epcar's foundation in the anime industry was established through early roles in landmark series of the 1980s and 1990s, such as Ben Dixon in Robotech and Guld Goa Bowman in Macross Plus. He has since become recognized for several signature roles that span decades.
