Description
Chibiusa Tsukino, known as Sailor Chibi Moon, is the future daughter of Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon) and Mamoru Chiba (Tuxedo Mask). Born in the 30th century as Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity, she serves as crown princess of Crystal Tokyo under her parents' rule as Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion. Her nickname "Chibiusa" originates from "chibi Usagi," meaning "little rabbit," to differentiate her from her mother. Chronologically around 900 years old due to extended lifespans in her era, her physical form and emotional maturity initially resemble a young child, stunted by her dormant Sailor Guardian status. After awakening her powers, her physical growth accelerates alongside gradual emotional maturation.

Her civilian appearance features pink hair styled in odango buns evoking rabbit ears and red eyes. She commonly wears school uniforms or casual sailor-inspired attire. As Sailor Chibi Moon, her initial uniform comprises a pink leotard with a dark pink sailor collar, skirt, boots, and red chest bow. This evolves into Super Sailor Chibi Moon with a yellow-tinged collar, translucent shoulder pads, and a white skirt featuring a gradient border. Her Eternal Sailor Chibi Moon form adds star motifs, extended gloves, layered skirts, and white boots adorned with pink V-shaped accents and golden stars.

Socially awkward early on due to bullying in the 30th century for lacking guardian abilities, Chibiusa gains confidence after becoming a Sailor Guardian. She displays a cheerful yet occasionally judgmental nature, frequently clashing with her mother over perceived immaturity. Her core motivation to become a "beautiful lady" fuels early perfectionism, though she later embraces maturity through collaboration and empathy. She harbors an innocent crush on her father's 20th-century self, Mamoru, calling him "Mamo-chan"—a dynamic creating comedic tension with Usagi. Despite acknowledging Usagi and Mamoru as her biological parents, she initially struggles to reconcile their present personas with their regal future counterparts, showing deeper reverence for Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion.

Her growth stagnation and powerlessness bred intense insecurity, worsened by public doubts about her royal legitimacy. This drove her to steal Neo-Queen Serenity's Silver Crystal, unintentionally enabling the Black Moon Clan's assault on Crystal Tokyo. To amend her error, she time-traveled to the 20th century seeking Sailor Moon's help, guided by Sailor Pluto. Upon arrival, she used hypnosis to pose as Usagi's cousin and initially demanded the Silver Crystal at gunpoint before gradually allying with the Sailor Guardians.

In battles, she fights alongside Sailor Moon as the "Double Moon" duo. Her attacks include "Pink Sugar Heart Attack," "Twinkle Yell" to summon Pegasus, and combined techniques like "Rainbow Double Moon Heartache" with Sailor Moon. She wields items such as the Prism Heart Compact, Pink Moon Stick, and later the Pink Moon Crystal. Her abilities expand through training, culminating in her Eternal form.

During *Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie*, Chibiusa resides in 30th-century Crystal Tokyo but detects temporal distortions from Sailor Galaxia's assault on the present. After Neo-Queen Serenity confirms the Sailor Guardians' deaths, Chibiusa defies orders to stay and journeys to the 20th century with the Sailor Quartet to aid Sailor Moon. At the Galaxy Cauldron's final battle, she witnesses Sailor Galaxia erase her family and allies, later seeing their restoration through Sailor Moon's sacrifice. She also observes Sailor Cosmos—Sailor Moon's distant future incarnation—reveal her identity and resolve to battle Chaos.

Beyond her family, she shares a close bond with Sailor Pluto, her time-travel guardian, and allies with the Sailor Quartet, her era's protectors. Her fears include thunderstorms, ghosts, and medical visits, while her interests encompass drawing, gardening, and collecting rabbit-themed items.
