Description
Konatsu Miyamoto is one of the main characters of the anime Tari Tari. She is a short, earnest girl with a deep love for singing and dancing, characterized by her energetic and ambitious personality. Her background is marked by a significant setback: a year before the story begins, she suffered a severe bout of stage fright during a choir recital, which caused a falling out with the club supervisor and led to her being barred from singing with the group. Undeterred, she began training alone by performing in a public park, determined to overcome her fear and pursue her passion. This experience fuels her primary motivation: to create her own choir club so she can sing in front of the school once more.

In the story, Konatsu serves as the driving force behind the formation of the Choir and Sometimes Badminton Club, pooling together a group of classmates who each have their own personal struggles and aspirations. Her role is that of an initiator and motivator, persistently encouraging her friends to join and work toward a common goal. Key relationships include her close friendship with Sawa Okita, who supports her from the beginning, and her connection with Wakana Sakai, a former music student whose mother's legacy becomes intertwined with the club's journey. Through these interactions and the challenges of building a club from scratch, Konatsu learns the importance of teamwork, patience, and compromise. Her notable ability lies not only in her musical talent—especially her singing—but also in her infectious optimism and determination, which inspire those around her to confront their own obstacles. Over the course of the series, she matures from a somewhat impulsive and stubborn individual into a more collaborative and responsible leader, all while remaining true to her fundamental desire to share the joy of music with others.
