Kojirō, whose full name is Sasaki Kojirō, is a major character in the Duel Masters VS R anime series. He first appears as a rival to the main protagonist, Katta, and remains a prominent figure throughout the Versus saga. Kojirō is a middle school student with a lean, muscular build and a wild appearance resembling a wolf, with spiky hair, sharp eyes, and bandaged arms from his boxing training. He comes from a very poor family and is the eldest of four brothers, taking on the responsibility of raising his younger siblings Daijiro, Chujiro, and Shojirō. To support them, he works multiple part-time jobs, often prioritizing work over dueling tournaments.
