Description
Inky is one of the four ghosts that make up the Ghost Gang in the anime Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. He is a blue, or cyan, ghost with a distinctive appearance that sets him apart from his fellow ghosts. Inky has a slender, lean physique and his most notable feature is his unique hairstyle, a single tuft of hair shaped like a thunderbolt or a zig-zag that stands up from his head and sometimes hangs down the side of his face. He also possesses teeth, which is a design choice for the ghosts in this particular series, and his eyes are typically light blue or green with glowing pupils.

In terms of his role, Inky exists in a state of dual allegiance. Officially, he and the rest of the Ghost Gang serve Lord Betrayus, the main antagonist of the series who rules the Netherworld and seeks to conquer the surface world of Pac-World. However, despite being employed by the villain, Inky and his friends are not truly evil. They are more accurately described as good-natured spirits who find themselves on the wrong side of a conflict. Secretly, they often befriend and assist the hero, Pac-Man, frequently helping him on his adventures and hoping that by doing good deeds, they can earn redemption and perhaps even be allowed to live again.

Inky's personality is a blend of contrasting traits. He is often described as goofy, laid-back, and sarcastic, with a tendency to be mischievous and enjoy playing pranks and being sneaky. Unlike earlier, more dim-witted versions of the character from classic Pac-Man media, this incarnation of Inky is considered by many to be the most intelligent member of the Ghost Gang. He is quick-witted and sharp, but this intelligence is balanced by a significant lack of focus. He is easily distracted and has trouble concentrating, with his friend Blinky once noting that Inky can get lost in his own thoughts. This combination makes him a clever but unpredictable ally.

The core of Inky's character is defined by his relationships with the other ghosts. He is particularly close to Blinky, the red ghost, and the two are portrayed as best buddies who share a strong bond. Their friendship is realistic, however, as they are known to argue and fight with each other from time to time. Inky's role within the Ghost Gang and his secret dealings with Pac-Man are his primary motivations. He is not driven by grand ambitions of conquest or revenge like his master, Lord Betrayus. Instead, his actions are motivated by a desire to do the right thing, have fun, and support his friends, all while trying to avoid getting into too much trouble with their boss.

Throughout the story, Inky does not undergo a dramatic transformation, but his position as a reluctant minion who secretly aids the hero remains a consistent and defining aspect of his role in the plot. He is a supporting character who provides comic relief through his sarcastic remarks and goofy behavior, while also being a capable and intelligent partner in Pac-Man's fights against the various monsters and villains of Pac-World.

Regarding his notable abilities, Inky possesses a unique and powerful skill that distinguishes him from the other ghosts. He has demonstrated the ability to create duplicates of himself, multiplying his own form to confuse enemies or assist his friends in a fight.
