Description
Moroha Haimura is the male protagonist of World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman. He is a student at Akane Academy, an institution that trains individuals known as Saviors who have awakened memories of their past lives and wield extraordinary abilities to fight monstrous beings called Metaphysicals.
Moroha is a unique figure among Saviors because he possesses memories of two distinct past lives, a feat previously considered impossible. In his first life, he was Flaga, a master swordsman and a member of the Shirogane class, who was known as the Nether King. In his second life, he was Shu Saura, a powerful sorcerer of the Kuroma class, who was known as the Dragon King. Because he can draw upon the abilities of both lives, he is classified as an Ancient Dragon, the only one of his kind. This grants him the rare capacity to use both Prana-based physical arts, which are typical of the Shirogane, and Mana-based Dark Magic, which is typical of the Kuroma.
Moroha is generally a good-hearted and kind young man. He is dependable and protective of those around him, often placing the safety of his friends and fellow Saviors above his own. At the same time, he has a somewhat lazy streak and does not enjoy being praised or recognized. He can become embarrassed easily when he is teased. Despite his immense power, he remains humble and does not seek to show off or draw attention to himself. His core motivation is to protect the people he cares about, and he is determined to fight against the Metaphysicals and other threats to ensure their safety.
