Description
Chise Asukagawa, a 13-year-old former student of Ayame Middle School, left due to difficulties socializing and fitting in. Standing 144 cm tall and weighing 34 kg, her birthdate is September 6, 2006, and her blood type is AB. Her hobbies include creating intricate zentangle art, notably a dragon-shaped design on her left hand resembling a tattoo. Japanese cultural associations linking tattoos to criminal elements led to this artwork contributing to her reputation as a delinquent and subsequent social isolation, prompting her to conceal the design under a glove.

Personality-wise, Chise exhibits a laid-back yet intermittently energetic demeanor. She frequently skips school, spending time with her older cousin Koyomi Yamanaka while expressing admiration for him. Her habits include consuming candy, often seen with lollipops. Underneath her seemingly carefree attitude, she harbored deep-seated loneliness and a fear of exclusion, stemming from being consistently overlooked by classmates despite her artistic talents.

Her involvement in significant events began when she witnessed the kaiju Shalbandes attacking the city. While Koyomi was recruited as a pilot for Dynazenon, Chise was initially left behind. During subsequent battles, she discovered and secretly kept a pearl-like kaiju seed. This seed grew into the kaiju Goldburn, which responded to her commands and shared an empathetic bond. When Yomogi Asanaka fell ill, Chise attempted to pilot the Dynasoldier component of Dynazenon but struggled due to inexperience, necessitating Yomogi’s return to defeat the kaiju Didoras.

Goldburn’s growth became uncontrollable, leading Chise to reveal its existence during a crisis. Nearly falling into a floodgate while Yume Minami was emotionally distraught, Chise was rescued by Goldburn. She then directed Goldburn to combine with Dynazenon and Gridknight, forming Kaiser Gridknight to defeat the kaiju Gibzorg, demonstrating her growing resolve and trust in her creations.

Character development culminated as Chise confronted her insecurities. She stopped hiding her dragon tattoo, symbolizing acceptance of her identity. After defeating the kaiju eugenicists, she attempted to return to school but remained hesitant. Goldburn, deemed incompatible with a "normal" world, departed with Knight and the Second. In a farewell gesture, Chise received a permanent dragon tattoo on her arm as a memento of their bond. She later participated in interdimensional events, aiding the Gridman Alliance against threats like Mad Origin, where her connection to Goldburn proved instrumental in combining mecha formations.

Her abilities center on exceptional artistic skills, particularly zentangle designs that influenced Goldburn’s draconic form. Her unique bond allowed her to command Goldburn telepathically and facilitate its combination with other mecha. The name "Chise Asukagawa" derives from the classical Japanese poem "Asukagawa no Fuchiase," reflecting themes of life’s impermanence.
