Chika Anzai is a Japanese voice actress born in Fukui Prefecture on December 22, 1990. She is affiliated with the agency Avex Planning & Development. Anzai first learned about the voice acting industry when she was in the fifth grade. At the age of 15, she joined the Avex Artist Academy, initially commuting between her home in Fukui and Tokyo for training before eventually moving to the capital to pursue her career while continuing her high school education remotely. She is the cousin of fellow voice actor Junya Enoki. In 2023, she was a recipient of the Best Lead Actor Award at the 17th Seiyu Awards.

Anzai made her debut as a voice actress in 2009 at the age of 19, landing her first lead role as Nagisa Mikogami in the anime television series Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuo. Her early career included supporting roles in series such as Seitokai Yakuindomo, where she voiced Nanako Umibe, and Attack on Titan, where she played Mina Carolina.

Her first major leading role in a fantasy series came in 2014 as the titular character Chaika Trabant in Chaika - The Coffin Princess. This was followed by a role that would become one of her most recognized and enduring performances: Reina Kōsaka in the critically acclaimed Kyoto Animation series Sound! Euphonium, a role she has reprised across multiple sequel series and films, including Liz and the Blue Bird. In 2016, she voiced the character Mary in the isekai fantasy series Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash. Her versatility as a voice actress is evident in her range of roles, from the serious and disciplined Reina to the complex and troubled Hanabi Yasuraoka in Scum's Wish (2017) and the assertive Niina Sugawara in O Maidens in Your Savage Season (2019).

In the late 2010s and into the 2020s, Anzai continued to take on prominent roles in a variety of genres. She voiced Chisa Kotegawa in the popular comedy anime Grand Blue Dreaming in 2018 and Nana Ōkami in the heartwarming series My Roommate is a Cat in 2019. In 2022, she achieved widespread recognition for her performance as the cheerful and pacifist protagonist Chisato Nishikigi in the original anime series Lycoris Recoil, a role that further cemented her status as a leading voice actress. Her other notable roles from this period include Sakura Nanamine in Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun (2020), Barbara in The Promised Neverland (2021), and Chise Asukagawa in SSSS.Dynazenon (2021) and the subsequent Gridman Universe film (2023). In 2024, she was cast as Katana in the anime series Suicide Squad ISEKAI.

Beyond anime television and film, Anzai has also lent her voice to numerous video games. Notable game roles include the female protagonist (Akira Howard) in Astral Chain (2019), Misaki Aoba in The Idolmaster Million Live!: Theater Days (2017), and characters in popular mobile games such as Arknights and Azur Lane. She has also participated in dubbing roles for foreign live-action and animated productions.
